First, I want to thank those who posted the previous comment about the Black and Decker CMM1200 it was very helpful to know what to expect when my new B & D Lawn 
Mower came. I also previously bought the same grass rechargeable and cordless garden tools (a small hedge trimmer and blower) who assured me that this electric lawn mower will be suitable. This item is also produced by B & D, so I am familiar with their instructions and packaging – that I came to interpret as simple the best
Let me clarify something – I do not believe that I would be classified as a typical black & decker fan, I am a 39 year old office worker women, with a passion for gardening at weekends. I do my own garden jobs and really appreciate finding new tools that make the job easier and faster. I also like the fact that I can retire my old machine sensitive pull-start and leaky gas cans.
Have to say my Experience buying from Amazon is something I wont for get, I ordered this mower on Tuesday and on Wednesday, received an email stating that it will arrive on Friday. Sure enough, the mower appeared on the appointed day, just three days after placing the order, while I was home for lunch. I unpacked it and it just dropped out of the box straight on to my garage floor.
Next day I decided to give it a go, I still can not forget how quickly and easy it was to start a new lawn mower! No bending, pulling cables, no coughing and sputtering engine. My main concern was my new mower up to the job at hand, as I have a 1/4 acre lawn to cut, first concern, would the charge last, second concern, could it do the cut without over heating, glad to say, I was worrying unduly, as it held the charge and no problem with over heating. Because the B&D is lighter and more maneuverable, It doe’s the work without adding additional burden on the operator.
I live in an area where smoke is an issue. When I first learned how much pollution, gas powered mowers produce, I was shocked. Now I do not have to feel like I gave the neighborhood children asthma. One last thing the Black and Decker CMM1200
